On 3-7 August Silvia A. Conca Messina is attending the XVIIth World Economic History Congress in Kyoto, Japan. She is corresponding organizer of two sessions on “Nobility and business: The contribution of aristocracy to economic development in the 18th-19th centuries” and “Production, trade and business organization in the dairy sector”. Her papers are on “Nobility and Economy in 19th Century Italy” and “Italian Dairy Enterprises”.
