Vocational Masters  

A Vocational Master Programme is a high level post-graduate scientific programme.

Vocational Master Programmes can be either first or second level: first-level Masters are open to first cycle graduates, second-level Masters to second cycle graduates.

The Department of Historical studies offers two Master programmes.

 

Public History

2nd level

The programme offers a multidisciplinary curriculum to strengthen methodological and historiographic knowledge in order to develop students’ skills in the creation of cultural products with historical content.

It includes frontal teaching activities for a total of 504 hours. Frontal lectures will be held mostly on Friday afternoons and Saturdays at the University of Milan and at Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. Some modules will be taught online.

An internship period of 250 hours will follow.

The Master's qualification is worth 60 university credits (CFU).

Digital Humanities

2nd level

The programme offers a cross-disciplinary curriculum that combines humanities and the sciences of representation and processing of information and knowledge.

It includes frontal teaching activities for a total of 500 hours. Frontal lectures will be held mostly on Friday afternoons and Saturdays at the University of Milan. Some modules will be taught online.

An internship period of 250 hours will follow.

The Master's qualification is worth 60 university credits (CFU).
